My Story…
So, as most of you already know, in December 2022 I donated my left kidney as part of a paired donation so that my partner could receive his own new kidney and stop dialysis. I don't know the recipient of my organ, but am told that it is working for them! I found this race last year when I was trying to get back to some level of physical activity, but was unable to participate due to scheduling conflicts. This year, I will be participating in the 10k race. I believe strongly that everyone has the opportunity to make a difference in someone else's life through organ donation.
