Are you interested in an inclusive, social and community-centred event? The type where everyone is encouraging you to a new personal achievement?

Coffs Trail Runners are excited to present the Coffs Backyard Ultra - the first backyard ultra for the North Coast of NSW.

Based at Coffs Harbour Showground with amazing facilities, the Coffs Backyard Ultra takes runners out and back along the popular and stunning Coffs Creek Track.

This event is by donation only but you still need to register prior.

You will have access to the large undercover Exhibition Pavilion as well as being welcome to bring a 3m x 3m marquee or similar, camp at the Showground or bring a caravan.

The event features the traditional open-ended backyard ultra format, where competitors must consecutively run the 6.7km course in less than one hour, every hour, until only 1 runner is left. In addition, we have a flexible, social and community centred approach where you can do as many laps as you like as long as the Last One Standing event is still occurring.

Prizes

• $250 cash and perpetual trophy to the male last one standing sponsored by The Battery Boys
• $250 cash and perpetual trophy to the female last one standing sponsored by East Coast Golf Carts
• Free NORT non-alcoholic beer for all participants
• DNF prize for all participants
• Those who reach 4 laps (26.8km), 8 laps (53.6km), 15 laps (100.5km) or 24 laps (100 miles) will have their name mentioned on an Honour Roll on the website

Note: All traditional backyard ultra rules apply to this event, except the rule of "no non-competitors on the course (including eliminated runners)". We allow runners to join in halfway through the Last One Standing event as well as taking 'rest' laps and continuing on. As such, we understand this community event may be considered an 'unofficial' backyard ultra and it will not count to the At-Large List, National Records or ticket races.
