My Story…
How do I explain my story. I love running, more than I can even explain, and even though I give them a hard time sometimes (I am usually the hardest on people I care about the most), I love St Joes, and all they have done for me, for the community, I know they care just as much as I do.
How many races have I done? A lot.
Will I run forever. Probably. I usually do this run with my sister Lisa, and we plan to be doing it when we are 90, you are never getting rid of us:)

Welcome to my fundraising page!
I’m very excited to be participating in the Around the Bay Road Race (ATB) in support of St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation. This cause is very important to me because St. Joe’s is in many ways the heart of Hamilton – nearly everyone in our community has been touched by the incredible patient care they provide.
Where Funds Raised Will Go at St. Joe’s:
When emergencies happen, every second counts. That’s why our Emergency Room (ER) is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. St. Joe’s is home to the busiest ER in the city caring for more than 60,000 patients annually – which equates to 167 visits every, single day. But after 20+ years, our current ER footprint is too small to keep pace with the growing demand for urgent care. To continue caring for our community, we need larger waiting rooms, more patient care bays, and a triage area that will better protect the privacy of our patients. Funds raised through the 2024 Bay Race will help construct a new ER at St. Joe’s Charlton Campus so that when emergencies happen, Hamilton can count on St. Joe’s.
I hope that you’ll consider supporting me as I take on the Around the Bay Road Race and raise funds for St. Joe’s. I’m encouraged by the support I’ve already received, but I still need your help to reach my fundraising goal. Every dollar we raise together will support hope, healing and discovery at St. Joe’s.
