Welcome to our team fundraising page!

We are very excited to be participating in the Around the Bay Road Race (ATB) in support of St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation. This cause is very important to us because St. Joe’s is in many ways the heart of Hamilton – nearly everyone in our community has been touched by the incredible patient care they provide.

Where Funds Raised Will Go at St. Joe’s:

When emergencies happen, every second counts. That’s why our Emergency Room (ER) is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. St. Joe’s is home to the busiest ER in the city caring for more than 60,000 patients annually – which equates to 167 visits every, single day. But after 20+ years, our current ER footprint is too small to keep pace with the growing demand for urgent care. To continue caring for our community, we need larger waiting rooms, more patient care bays, and a triage area that will better protect the privacy of our patients. Funds raised through the 2024 Bay Race will help construct a new ER at St. Joe’s Charlton Campus so that when emergencies happen, Hamilton can count on St. Joe’s.
