My Story…
Alyssa and Jarrod eagerly awaited their first child, cherishing every heartbeat and moment of anticipation.
Their joy turned to heartbreak when an ultrasound revealed their baby, Jaxon, had trisomy 13, a diagnosis that would limit his time with them.
On September 12, 2023, Jaxon was born. Despite his brief life, his presence deeply touched Alyssa and Jarrod. They held him close, finding solace in the fleeting moments they shared.
Alyssa and Jarrod are profoundly grateful for the support and care provided by Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice, which helped them navigate this difficult journey with compassion and comfort.
They honour Jaxon’s memory by embracing their grief with love and strength, sharing their story to support others and keep Jaxon’s light shining in their hearts.
