Our story…
Our daughter, Alexandra, was unexpectedly stillborn on August 13, 2022 at 39 weeks gestation.
After losing Alex, we were devastated and signed up for Roger Neilson Childrens Hospice's perinatal bereavement services. We received help in the form of support groups and individual therapy, all free of charge thanks to generous donors and fundraisers like the Butterfly Run Ottawa.
We hope that by sharing Alex's story we can increase awareness of these services and show our appreciation. Thank you so much for donating to this amazing organization. Your funds will help many families through some of their toughest days.
Butterfly Run Ottawa
The Butterfly Run Ottawa aims to raise awareness and support around pregnancy loss, infant loss, pregnancy after loss, and infertility in Ottawa and surrounding areas. All proceeds from the run are donated to Roger Neilson Children's Hospice (RNCH), an awesome organization that provides families with a wide variety of support and services, including bereavement support for parents who have lost a child or baby.
