Help Nancy raise money

I'm thrilled to be living my dream of becoming a Spin instructor at Oxford Athletic Club (OAC).  And it all started when an OAC employee put cards in the Ride Studio in 2020 looking for riders to make the iconic bicycle journey from Washington D.C. to Pittsburgh.  That 6-day trip took place in 2021 and included a 16 mile climb up the Continental Divide while riding in Hurricane Ida.  Ten riders raised over $33,000 for the Parkinson's Foundation of Western PA, and I was honored to ride with three gentlemen living with the disease.  

Completion of the 335 mile ride gave me the confidence to become a Spin instructor as well as a ride leader for a local bike club.  I hope others at OAC will rise to the challenge of this 15 mile ride and be empowered to take on other challenges and to chase dreams.

Cancer has affected us all.  My father spent his final 30 days on a ventilator after colon cancer has spread throughout his body, most notably his lungs.  My sister is a breast cancer survivor, and I ride for her in the hope that advancements in treatments will ensure she can live life fully.

I'm proud to lead Team OAC!  I will be donating all my OAC wages to R2C from February through May 2024.
