Help Shannon raise money

Hi! I was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer (with node involvement) one year ago in April 2023. I had no symptoms. No family history. Tested negative on genetics.

Every single person - and service dog - at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center helped me navigate this tough road, reminded me to smile along the way, and quite frankly, saved my life. From the volunteers who rolled out the food and treat cart to the amazing stylist who helped me choose a fierce wig, to the greeters, staff, ALL the nurses and techs, and of course my entire care team - hands down, THE best there is: Drs. Gorantla, Steiman, Bailey, Vargo - Hannah, Maddie, Emma - it takes a whole village, and I am forever grateful and privileged to be here in Pittsburgh being treated at Hillman by this care team. I am walking in the survivor walk to educate, advocate and to help raise crucial funding for cancer research. I hope you will join me to help save people's lives and to continue groundbreaking research and providing medical care to a hopeful cure and quality of life for those going through this journey. xo
