I’m thrilled to once again be participating in the Pride & Remembrance Run. I absolutely love getting a chance to run and fundraise on behalf of amazing organizations supporting the LGBTQ+ community. This is my favourite running event of the year as it gives me joy to know my passion for running can also translate into fantastic community impact. 

This year I’ll be participating virtually as I take a vacation in Mexico after a challenging couple of months at work, but I’m as keen as always to get out there, post a PB (albeit it unofficial) and hopefully also have a personal best in fundraising for the community. I’ll make sure to get some great footage as proof!

Hi friends!

I’m participating in the pride & remembrance run! 

I need your support, as the run is raising funds for 5 incredible non-profit organizations that are doing amazing work in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. The beneficiaries for this year’s run are: AndThenIWasFree, Durham Alliance Outreach, Rainbow Faith and Freedom, Toronto People With AIDS Foundation, and the Pride and Remembrance Foundation.

It’s fast and easy to donate, and tax receipts will be issued for every donation over $20. Every donation matters, as we try to reach our goal of raising $350,000 this year! The projects and initiatives that these organizations are developing will make a difference to so many members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and I would be so grateful for your donation.
