NH Foods Angus Youth
National Roundup
10 - 14 January 2024
The Angus Youth National Roundup is an event that encourages, promotes and provides a wonderful learning platform for anyone aged between 8 and 25 years of age interested in the Australian beef cattle industry.
While the event encompasses a number of competitions aligned with cattle preparation, handling, showing and judging, a large focus is placed on educational sessions and team building activities, designed to encourage and inspire the next generation to remain active in the beef industry.
The Entry Fee includes the full Roundup educational and fun program, participants meals, Gala Dinner ticket, polo shirt, cap, bag and a drink bottle; a total value of over $300.00, and you’re paying only $250!
PLEASE NOTE: It is a requirement of entry that all participants must source an Angus animal (Black or Red) as part of their registration. If you need assistance in sourcing animals, or have enquiries regarding animal entries, please contact the Roundup Event Coordinator Toni Nugent (contact details below) who will happily assist you in sourcing an animal.
Participants will be split into age based groups — PEE WEE, JUNIOR, SUB-INTERMEDIATE, INTERMEDIATE and SENIOR — for the duration of the Roundup including industry sessions and competitions.
Security has been hired for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights to watch the cattle and equipment stored in the cattle sheds. St John's Ambulance members will also be in attendance for the duration of the event.
Participants must organise their own accomodation. PLEASE NOTE: There is no camping available on-grounds.
