My Story…
Raising Funds One Mile at a Time
Ben Long is going the extra mile - make that 13.1 miles - to support his Forest Lake community. This union laborer and construction instructor is running the Grandma's Marathon half to raise money for the Forest Lake Good Samaritans.
When not teaching future tradesmen scaffolding, rigging and cutting torches, Ben laces up for the good of his hometown. All funds from his half marathon run will provide food, housing and youth programs for Forest Lake neighbors in need.
Off the job site, Ben digs into hobbies like gardening and rockhounding with wife Chelsea and daughters Freya (4) and Astrid (2). But on race day, it's all about crossing the finish line to make a difference.
Fuel Ben's run by donating now! Every dollar and every mile bring the Forest Lake Good Samaritans closer to their goal.
Donate to help Benjamin raise money for 2024 Grandma's Marathon Weekend Races’s fundraising campaign.
