My Story…
I am thrilled to assist in fundraising for Spinal Cord Injury BC (SCI BC), an organization that has been committed to supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries, related disabilities, and their families to adjust, adapt, and thrive since 1957.
Since my injury in 2007, which resulted in paraplegia, I have been actively involved with SCI BC. They have organized events that enabled me to connect with others who have similar disabilities, fostering an environment that encouraged personal growth and successful living with a spinal cord injury.
Over the past two years, SCI BC has played a pivotal role in helping me reconnect with my passion for the outdoors. They have organized events such as 'Learn to Camp' and 'Whistler Adrenaline Weekend,' as well as coffee groups that have introduced me to others with shared experiences. These connections have been instrumental in helping me adjust and adapt to life as a quadriplegic.
Your support in my fundraising efforts for Spinal Cord Injury BC will ensure the continuation of these wonderful programs, aiding individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives despite the new challenges they face.
