My Story…
In December 2018 I suffered a spinal cord injury that initially paralyzed me from the chest down, and affected my hand/arm strength and dexterity. My introduction to Spinal Cord Injury BC began during my hospital stay. One of the peers made regular visits to answer my questions and offer suggestions on how to navigate this new life. Since then, SCI BC has shown us how to thrive versus just survive, introducing new activities and ways to adapt previous passions.
This year I’m using my walker to walk 5km over 3 days, raising funds for SCI BC’s programs. I realize there are many worthwhile causes out there, so I appreciate any type of support, whether it’s financial or even some words of encouragement.
Description
I'm helping people with spinal cord injury adjust, adapt, and thrive by fundraising for Spinal Cord Injury BC. Can you help us reach our team goal of raising $75,000?
