Our daughter, Carli, battled DIPG for 18 months before she was called home to heaven in June 2023 at the age of 14. We are joining Sunflower Striders to honor her and join forces with an incredible group of people dedicated to raising awareness and funding desperately needed for treatments and research of pediatric gliomas. Prayers From Maria held a special place in Carli’s heart and continues to be very special to us as well.
If Carli were here, she would be joining us. Along with my wife, Julie and our daughter, Macie, we are running for Carli and all the other children whose lives were taken far too soon after enduring so much, as well as those currently fighting their own battle.
