It Takes Heart! Whether its physical resilience or the enduring strength of our spirits. In 2006, I experienced the profound loss of my mother to a stroke. Less than two years later, my sister succumbed to a heart-related illness at the age of 33. Since then, heart disease has also claimed the lives of my father & brother. These tragic events served as a catalyst for transformation in my own health/wellness journey. From weighing 525 pounds to shedding over 250 pounds, I've dedicated my life to helping others overcome adversity. While I always carry the memory of my loved ones in my heart during each run, I felt compelled to extend an invitation to all my friends and supporters to join me for a cause. As an advocate for heart awareness, it feels only right to raise funds for the American Heart Association and contribute to saving lives.
