Raise money for Bloor West Food Bank
The mission statement for the Bloor West Food Bank is ‘Because Nobody Should Go Hungry’.
Located in Bloor West Village, we bring together local resources to reduce food insecurity by providing food for anyone who requires it.
Since our inception in August/2020, the Bloor West Food Bank has grown from assisting 188 to the current 1000+ individuals weekly, from the communities of Bloor West, Swansea, the Junction and High Park.
We are 100% volunteer driven and receive no government funding.
We rely on our fundraising initiatives to cover operating costs totaling $3950 per month, which includes a sizable increase in the monthly rent expenses for our location in 2024.
