My Story…
As someone who is no stranger to autism, it can feel like a curse, but also be a blessing. Getting through life day-to-day is the hard part, both socially and professionally. Yet people with autism often make up for that by excelling at specific things like writing, computer coding, playing the piano or maybe even running a marathon at breakneck pace.
My hope is people, especially children and youth with autism lead happy, stable, productive lives and acquire the inclination to form strong social support networks imperative to their personal and professional well-being. I am also hoping any potential talents or aspirations they have are encouraged or further developed.
So as a first step to helping set people with autism on the right track, I am asking if you could make a contribution to "Autism Ontario" and would be grateful for any amount you can spare.
