My Story…
Hello!
My name is Matthew Stanisz, and I will be participating in this years Toronto Waterfront Marathon by running a half marathon.
Previously, I have been able to raise donations for various charitable organizations, primarily, ones that I believe support my communities most vulnerable sectors.
Being an individual who has been clinically diagnosed with ADHD since early elementary school, I have a clear understanding of the challenges that present themselves.
ADHD awareness and advocacy is something that I believe to be incredibly import, due to many individuals not truly understanding what ADHD itself truly entails, and how it can cause difficulties within daily life, education, and other areas of life, such as relationships.
Additionally, promoting awareness surrounding ADHD is more important than ever, as modern psychiatry is beginning to treat, and assist certain demographics (gender, race, sex etc..) who previously were either under reported, or blatantly ignored on a larger and more visible scale.
Any form of donation would be largely appreciated, with 100% of all proceeds going towards advocacy, awareness, and assistance pertaining toward ADHD.
