I am racing for research
This will be my second year running Marathon, but 1st year running for a cause: Sinai Health Foundation. I was moved after hearing how well they helped save life of one of my friends son. who was born at 24 weeks weighing 670g (~1.5 pounds). This kid went through tough times as breathing was by itself a challenge. At Mount Sinai, he received top notch care at their Level 3 NICU. He spent 115 days in NICU before discharging him home. As they spent countless hours travelling back and forth to the hospital, one thing that they kept saying was - the quality of care received at Mount Sinai. Through all this experience, we are reminded to stay humble, grounded in our outlook and ever grateful to the numerous people that were part of the health care system in this country - what we now call home!.. I take pride in considering this opportunity to seek your support (big or small), your donation will go a long way in helping the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute (LTRI), part of Sinai Health in their research. I would like to raise around $1000 and requesting that you support to this great cause!
