My Story…
At 90, with new orthotics and new walking shoes, and lots of energy I'm ready to hit the sidewalk again for Team Houston's seventh Toronto Waterfront Marathon Charity Challenge to raise money to support the work of the Holy Trinity Refugee Committee.
Merylie, Lucy and Milo, will join in person the rest of the Holy Trinity team at the Nathan Phillip Square starting gate on October 19th. Jim and Penelope will walk their 5k on Thanksgiving weekend.
During the summer the Refugee Committee already welcomed four more newcomers to Canada. Team Houston is committed to raising $11,000 of the $30,000 needed to support them during the coming year.
