My Story…
This year, I'm walking the half marathon. A challenge for sure but nothing like the medical challenges many people across Canada face - each and every day. From cancer to diabetes, from mental health to ALS.
I'm thrilled the Srinarayanathas Foundation is working with Health Partners this year. In their own words, Health Partners shares, "At some point in their lives, 9 out of 10 Canadians are likely to be affected by one or more of the major illnesses our charities are working to eradicate. Your donation directly supports life-changing research and a wide range of programs and services that benefit millions of Canadians from coast to coast."
That's why I'm walking. One of the charities is the Canadian Cancer Society. My mum died of pancreatic cancer. So far, no cure. Research will help.
