Why I'm walking for social justice

I would like to raise funds in loving memory of my mum, Marie-Laure, by participating in the Walk the Walk for Social Justice fundraising event organized by my church. My mum was a very caring, dedicated and generous person, who lived her faith by being open and kind to everybody. She showed me how spirituality can lead us to action in our everyday life.

As a Mission and Service co-lead at Islington United, my goal is to raise $500 or more to keep helping people in need. These funds will support programs in our faith community and will help to continue the work being done by the Mission and Service Ministry within the United Church of Canada around the world.
