My Story…

I became a Toronto Rape Crisis Centre Volunteer in the first season of covid pandemic. It was important for me to know that that victims of sexual voilence has the resources they need in the time of a world wide crisis. Since 2020, I got to truly appreciate the TRCC community, its resilience, its radical community care philosophy, its diversity and commitment to reconsiliation and anti-colonial lens in supporting vistims.

I joined TCS Marathon to raise money for TRCC and celebrate its 50th anniversary. Together with TRCC I dream and work towards a violence-free world.
