Cani6ix is an Ontario Canicross Club where people run with their canine best friend! 

Canicross is a dog sport that involves a human and a dog cross-country running. Typically the dog wears a pulling harness which is attached to the human via a waist belt and bungee cord. The dog pulls the human along, increasing their speed and stamina. Who would have thought being dragged by your dog would be fun! Our club is dog reactive friendly and inclusive of all paces. We meet once a week at various locations throughout the province to run together as a community. 

Since we share a love for running and dogs, we have decided to fundraise for a dog rescue called Save Our Scruff and help dogs that are in need.

Save Our Scruff is dedicated to preventing overpopulation as well as stopping the cycle of abandonment/neglect while also providing aid/support due to these concerns. They provide care and rehabilitation for stray, abandoned or displaced dogs. They strive to position themselves as a leader on matters that promote and improve the welfare of dogs through enhancement, protection, care, education and advocacy.
