Help Maureen raise money

Hello friends and family!

Mo here!  I’m raising money to run in Twin Cities Marathon on October 6th, 2024 for YMCA of the North’s Adventure Team, a cohort of 17+ camps and adventure programs that offer outdoor experiences for all ages, 365 days per year. I have the unique opportunity to do something I love (run long distances!) for places I love dearly! 

The intrinsic value of the outdoors is something I believe every person should have access to, it is a healing place, a place to connect with others, create lasting memories and friendships. I got to experience this as a kid, I am getting to see my kids and hundreds of other kids experience this all summer and throughout the year. 

Please help me in our efforts to ensure that we can a space of healing, growth and belonging for people of all backgrounds. Y Adventure is fundraising specifically to increase our equity, inclusion and belonging efforts- including but not limited to: scholarships, continued learning experiences for our staff, and more! Y Adventure is committed to creating inclusive, accessible spaces that acknowledge shared history and nurture diverse communities.
