The Challenge 5K brings the whole Purdue community together to raise funds that allow the institute to advance cancer detection, treatment, and prevention, a cause that I am passionate about. Recognizes first male and female to cross the finish line.
THE BLAKE STRONG AWARD
Recognizes the first military male and female veteran to cross the finish line.
This award is sponsored by the Blake Strong Bowell Fund in honor of Blake Bowell, a courageous individual who battled brain cancer with grace and determination. The award aims to recognize the exceptional dedication, resilience, and commitment exhibited by military veterans in their pursuit of cancer research.
