Our story…
Great Big C is Ottawa’s first ever men’s cancer survivor dragon boat team. All paddlers have previously been diagnosed with or are currently fighting a form of cancer including but not limited to prostate, testicular, lung, colorectal, myeloma and esophageal. Our current roster ranges in age from 50s to 80s. For some this will be their first time ever in a dragon boat while others have competed at the world competitive level. The goal of the team is to have fun on the water, bond as a crew and help raise awareness of cancer and men’s health.
