My Story and My School
Did you know that SRVUSD is one of the lowest funded unified school districts in the state? Did you know that the district is facing crippling budget deficits (last count, $16.5M), threatening programing and staff positions, and pressuring teachers and administrators to do more with less? Frustrating and hard to believe, but true.
As a mom to three kiddos at Vista Grande Elementary, I'm showing up for the VG Team during the SRVEF Run for Education. I'll be running the 10K course and hoping to beat my best 10K time of 56:29! Please help me show VG and SRVUSD some love and support on race day!
My 4th grader has pledged $25 to support her school, and I'd love to show her some donation matches (or beats) to amplify her generosity. Your tax deductible donation will help fund priority school initiatives, such as district level grants, STEAM programs, professional learning, and individual teacher grants and will be apportioned 70% to VG and 30% to the district.
Go Team VG!!!
