Help Emily raise money

JANUARY 2024 - UPDATE!!!! 

I am down an organ! Yes, yes! It's true! Will this make me run faster? Maybe! But it's also thrown a wrench in my plans - I am not allowed to train for the next 5 weeks (doctor's orders, I swear I'm not faking, why don't you believe me???) 

This means training will not be picked back up until February 26th at the absolute earliest. You know what that's not enough time for? Yeah, it's not enough time to train for a 1/2 marathon. *womp womp* 

But it is enough time to train for a 10K 

So I will be running the Goodlife Fitness 10K. Please still donate. It's for the animals okay I love you goodbye. 

                                                                                                                           

Hello! It's that time of year again where I make a mistake! 

Only this year the mistake is bigger and better than ever. Me. The road. Several thousand other people. 21KM. That's right. Ya girl signed up for the Bluenose Half Marathon. 

Send me money. It's going to the Nova Scotia SPCA. Come on. Don't you like cats? No? Dogs? Also no? Rabbits? Really? You don't have a heart? What about lizards and assorted others? Oh yeah. I knew there was something you liked. You lizard loving freak, you. 

If you help me raise $500 I promise to elect a lizard as the leader of Canada. Don't believe me? You shouldn't. 

But seriously, it's a great cause! And I'm doing the Emily Cairns-Rousseaux Torture Power-Hour once more! Only this time there is a slight change to the rules. 

For each $20 that you donate I will run an extra 5 KM during my training. To a MAXIMUM of $100. This means you could make me run a maximum of 25 KM in one go. You will then receive a post-run video full of my hilarious wit (did you catch the lizard loving freak thing? That was pretty funny, right?) and sweat. Yum. Emily sweat. 

Anyway - love animals? Donate! Hate me and want me to run an extra 25 KM on a Saturday as if I don't have anything better to do? Donate!

*All run videos with a donation of OVER $60 will be made between April Mar 10 and May 05. Any extra videos will be recorded AFTER the race weekend (May 19) I love you all, but I'm not going to completely throw my training out the window*
