Our story…
For over 10 years, Nourish Nova Scotia has been working to cultivate healthy food environments for children and youth across Nova Scotia; this means creating the conditions for young people to access, prepare, grow, and cook nourishing foods that support the health of people and the planet.
Nourish works in close connection with schools and communities to increase access to healthy and local foods, build food knowledge and skills, and enhance infrastructure and capacity for food and garden programs that are welcoming for all.
Description
The Blue Nose Marathon is our largest fundraising event of the year. In 2023, you helped us raise almost $8,000 to support healthy school food programs across the province. Donate to help Nourish NS continue to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and youth in Nova Scotia.
