Our story…
I have been involved in the educational system my whole life - my parents were teachers, my husband is a teacher and I have two children in grades 4 and 8 respectively. We are a food loving family and enjoy spending time in the garden and in the kitchen, working together and trying new recipes. On top of that, I've been involved in the design and construction of schools across Canada and have seen first hand the benefit that these buildings and the educators can have on children, families and communities. My involvement with Nourish began as a way to support healthy foods, learning and skills development for children so that they can learn how to grow, choose and prepare food for themselves, their families and to be part of a larger food community. I'm excited to see what we can do and how we can continue to contribute to children and students success!
