Our story…
The Cider Striders are racing in support of safe and affordable housing for vulnerable populations in Halifax. We have selected Adsum for Women & Children as our preferred fundraising organization, and are aiming to raise $400 in advance of the Killam Marathon Relay on Sunday, May 19th, 2024.

Description
Adsum shelters and houses as many as 170 people each day and more than 350 persons in a year, at an Adsum location. Hundreds more are supported in the community, by the housing team, to find safe and affordable homes with ongoing services for stable housing, food, clothing, and connection. We help people move from crisis to stability and bring hope to women, families and gender-diverse folks.
