My Story…
Who I am: Back in 2008, before my first tour of duty at the BJR, I had never done any serious running. Being on Team Mimi that year was really special. The whole experience inspired me. A great many 10Ks, marathons and half ironmans later, I still enjoy getting out on the roads for some much needed exercise.
Why I want to run the relay: I'm running in 2024, for the same reasons I did over a decade ago... in support of Mimi, whom I met through her husband Andrew. I cherish all the moments I spend with the Kubo Clan and look forward to many more. I'm very honoured to help such a great cause and that Mimi asked me back on the team.
