I’m excited to be participating in this fundraising race to support Promise Vancouver, an organization that is dedicated to serving children from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. As a program manager at Promise, I witness firsthand how we’re not only providing essential childcare services but also focusing on building meaningful relationships with the kids through intentional programming.

Promise Vancouver offers after-school programs, music and art activities, and summer programs, all designed to create safe, nurturing spaces for these children to thrive. We also give young leaders the chance to grow by being leaders, developing their skills, and continuing their relationship with Promise as they move into adulthood. Through this, we’re investing in the future of the Downtown Eastside by empowering the next generation.
