My Story…
This November, I’ll be running in the 2024 Philadelphia Marathon not only to challenge myself physically but to make a meaningful impact in honor of someone incredibly special to me—my dad.
My dad bravely battled esophageal adenocarcinoma these past few months and every step I take will be dedicated to him and to the millions of others affected by this merciless disease. Cancer didn’t, nor will ever define him—his courage, strength, and resilience will. His huge heart, kind soul, endless wisdom and valuable mentorship will.
I'd like to honor his incredible spirit by supporting the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), the marathon’s title sponsor, which funds groundbreaking research aimed at finding new treatments and cures.
Why AACR? The AACR is leading the way in cancer research and every dollar raised brings us closer to a future where cancer is no longer something families have to face. This is deeply personal for me, and I hope it resonates with you too.
I’m asking for your help—whether you can donate $1 or $100, every contribution counts.
How You Can Help:
💙 Donate to my fundraising page
💙 Share this post to spread awareness
💙 Send words of encouragement as I prepare for race day!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me, my dad, and everyone affected by cancer. Let’s fight back—one step at a time.
