My Story…
In 2022, I ran the Philly Marathon and it changed my life. I had never seen more heart in one place than I did on that day.
Not only was I able to raise money for the charity and run on the behalf of all the family, friends, and loved ones who have been affected by cancer, but I also witnessed the sheer power, resilience, and hope of those working through it.
This last year was challenging for me personally and one way that I like to practice gratitude is by paying it forward. No matter how hard things get, they can always be worse, and for me, no run is taken for granted in that regard.
It's more crucial than ever for me to achieve this goal, and I know I can only do it with the support and assistance of those around me.
This year, I have only 2 goals:
Raise 3 k for Cancer Research
Run a Sub-4 hour marathon.
That's it.
The effort is always what counts and I'm going all out.
With Love,
Joe B.
