Hi Friends and Family!

I am excited to share that I’m running in the Philadelphia Marathon this year as part of the AACR Runners for Research team!! I’m reaching out to invite you to join me on this journey to support a cause that is very important to me.

As a second-year medical student with a background in cancer research, I have seen firsthand the impact that dedicated research can have. For two years before starting medical school, I worked at MSKCC in a cancer research laboratory, driven by a desire to contribute to helping find a cure to this disease. My passion for this cause isn’t just professional—it’s also personal.

I have seen cancer affect many people close to me. The people that made it through did so because of the profound new research that was coming out. I’ve seen the progress we can make, but I also know there is so much more that can be done.

This year, I’m running the Philadelphia Marathon as part of the Runners for Research team to raise funds for the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR). My goal is to support groundbreaking research that could lead to new treatments and, hopefully, a cure for cancer. Every step I take during this marathon will be for those who have fought, are fighting, and will fight this disease.

I am reaching out to you, my friends and family, to ask for your support. Your donations will directly contribute to advancing cancer research and improving outcomes for patients. No matter how big or small the contribution is, every bit helps.
