This November, I will be running the Philadelphia Marathon to support a cause that is deeply personal to me: the fight against cancer. As some of you know, my father is a prostate cancer survivor, and his journey has profoundly shaped my perspective on the importance of cancer research and advocacy.

With a PhD in Cancer Biology, I have dedicated my career to understanding the complexities of cancer. I now have the privilege of working as an editor for the scientific journal Clinical Cancer Research at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR). In this role, I help facilitate the publication of groundbreaking studies that contribute to our understanding of cancer mechanisms and the development of new therapies. Every day, I witness the incredible progress that researchers and scientists make in their quest to improve patient outcomes, and I am proud to play a part in this critical work.
