Welcome to our fundraising page!

As part of our races (Ellie's running the half marathon and the 8K, Bill's running the 8K and the full marathon, and Liza and Mary are walking the 8K), we're proudly supporting again the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) who is finding cures for more than 200 types of cancer. With your help, we can make the AACR Philadelphia Marathon the largest run dedicated to cancer research in the U.S.!

We're running to make every step through Philadelphia a step towards a cure and truly appreciate any contributions you can make. We are again dedicating our race and fundraising to 4 friends/relatives that they lost to cancer way too young - Bill's father/Mary's father-in-law/ Ellie and Liza's grandfather Rink, Bill's aunt Joanne Knight, Mary and Bill's brother-in-law and Liza and Ellie's Uncle, Stan Lyslo and Bill's co-worker Kathy Belmore.

The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) is on the front lines of the quest for new and innovative ways to understand, prevent, and cure cancer. We bring together the greatest minds in cancer science to defeat the more than 200 types of cancer. The AACR invites you to join us in imagining a world without cancer. More importantly, we invite you to join us in making it happen. Of every dollar donated, 88 cents goes to support lifesaving cancer research.
