Inspiration often comes from the most unexpected places. Recently, a dear neighbor of mine faced a profound challenge. Amidst the joy of becoming a grandmother for the first time, she received news that shook her world—she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Witnessing her quiet strength and determination left an indelible mark on me.
Her journey illuminated the urgency of our cause. As I prepare for the Philadelphia marathon, I carry with me the spirit of all those battling cancer silently and courageously.
