Our story…
We're team Vics for Vets made up of Victoria And Victor, a father-daughter pair doing our first 10k together!
Gerard Patrick Hammill (b.1919), Victoria's grandfather and Victor's father, was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces during World War 2. Like his brother and so many of his friends, they were proud to do their part. They dedicated their whole lives to the service of their families and friends. 
We will also be running in memory of Victoria’s uncle and Victor’s brother-in-law Bruce Hodgins who had a long and dedicated career with the Department of National Defence.
We are forever grateful to those on the front lines and at home who work to keep our country safe and we're now looking to do our part to support all of the CAF members, their families and veterans.
