My Story…
This year hits differently. For all of us. October 7th will forever be etched in our hearts and our minds. We all have different ways of coping. Of managing the pain. One of the most meaningful ways for me this last year has been through both prayer and community. Together. We have grown so strong through this pain and I know we can continue to do so. This year I run not only for the beautiful growing community at shaarei tefillah. But I run for those whose souls left this world way too soon. I run for children who did not get the opportunity to live their dreams. I run so we can make their dreams a reality. So we can build a better community for our youth. In their honour. In their name. Play soccer for them. Dance for them. Please join me in whatever capacity you can. Through financial means, words of support, or prayer. Nothing is too small.

This Year’s Running Campaign is “Run for the Future – Our STC Youth!”
There is nothing more important for our shul community and for the Toronto Jewish community, than investing in our youth. Strong Jewishly committed and proud youth are the only way to secure a strong Jewish future. This year, we are investing heavily in our youth program, expanding programming to connect them to Shabbat and Chagim, bringing in Israeli Shinshinim to connect them to Israel, giving them space to lead services to connect them to Tefillah, and providing opportunities to have them both learn and share Torah to connect them to our values!
