I'm excited to share that I am participating in the Constantine Yorkville Run to support victim Services Toronto. This Organization does incredible work for those in need, and your donation will surely make a huge difference.

Description
We received a call from a young woman who was trapped in an apartment by her trafficker. In the middle of the night she escaped, stole a laptop and ran to Tim Hortons. She used their free wifi to find our crisis phone number and called us. We immediately called her a taxi to come to our office. It was so late and she was exhausted, she slept on our couch. In the morning, once she had some rest, we fed her and she shared that she was pregnant and malnourished. We immediately took her to the hospital to receive critical medical attention. She couldn't remember her name. Once medically cleared, we found her safe accommodations, ongoing medical support, gift cards for food and connections to services to support her ongoing mental health needs.
