My Story…
On this World Grandparents Day (Sep 8), I’m running Constantine Yorkville 5K in memory of Grandma Nhi Mui.
Though ailed with dementia (asked me “Are you married yet?!” & “Do you have any kids yet?!” every 3rd question), Grandma still remembered teaching me to play 字牌“zhǐpái” (Chinese play cards) when I was my son’s age. At 95 years young, she still had a head full of long black hair, a gene I hope I inherited! May you rest in peace Grandma!

I am participating in the 2024 Constantine Yorkville Run, in support of the Alzheimer Society of Toronto (AST). AST is able to offer free programs, education, healthcare navigation, and counselling for individuals living with dementia and their families and care partners, because of supporters like you!
Please help me reach my goal by supporting a cause close to my heart!
