My Story…
My name is Liam and I have Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA). I was diagnosed when I was 3. I also had uveitis (inflammation of the eye) in both eyes when I was diagnosed. My arthritis has flared and gone into remission a few times in the past 9 years. Last year I was put on a biologic, which is a medicine that suppresses the immune system. I get this needle every second week. It is working well for me and my arthritis has gone to sleep again.
I hope you can all join me in the walk and help raise some funds & awareness of this disease.
