RAHAB Ministries provides Christ-centered transformational services to those directly affected by sex trafficking in Northeast Ohio. RAHAB's staff and volunteers offer outreach into the streets, strip clubs, and jails of Northeast Ohio; an invitation for women to visit Drop-In Centers in Akron and Canton for meals, hygiene supplies, clothing, and community; healthy mentoring for adult and youth trafficking survivors; and case management for youth and their families as they heal from trafficking. Above all, RAHAB offers safe, non-judgmental, healthy spaces and relationships to those who have experienced the trauma of human trafficking.
RAHAB began in 2002 with one woman and a few volunteers ministering to women on the streets — and over the years expanded to provide care for more of those directly impacted by sex trafficking. RAHAB programs continue to reach women in the streets, strip clubs, and jails; support women in our drop-in homes; provide mentoring and community-based case management for minors; and help survivors see beyond the hopelessness and brokenness of human trafficking.
