My Story…
I love running.
And I’m thrilled to be getting ready to run my second marathon.
But even more than being thankful that I’m able to run another marathon, I’m ecstatic that I get to run AND raise funds for Angelman Syndrome Foundation.
This foundation has been a great resource for my sister and her family as they care for their very own angel, my niece, Amanda. Amanda brings so much joy with her even as her diagnosis means she has countless doctor and therapist visits, faces the challenge of trying to communicate non-verbally, and has had many ER visits due to the unforeseen complications that arise from a compromised immune system and seizures.She is a TROOPER with a non-stop smile on her beautiful face.
