My Story…
On January 10, 2024, I received a life-saving kidney transplant from my Stride for Stride teammate, Jorge Rosales. On August 18, 2024, I will run the Falmouth Road Race - my 11th consecutive running - in support of the organization that saved my life, Stride for Stride.
Stride for Stride is the team that brought Jorge and me together and it now brings together 400 runners from 26 countries to run major races like Falmouth, the Boston Marathon, and the NYC Marathon. Running a race like the Falmouth or the NYC Marathon is more than just running - it's about hope, empowerment, belonging and being seen.
On November 3rd, Jorge and I will run the NYC Marathon together - kidney donor and recipient running Stride for Stride.
Every $100 donation will receive a free copy of my book ‘Kindness’ about the incredible gift of kindness that Jorge gave me.
