My Story…
I will be running the Falmouth Road Race this year to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Massachusetts and Rhode Island Chapter.
I run to honor my niece Maggie who battled CF for 19 years but ultimately lost the fight. I also run to remember and honor my brother who died 2 years ago, you could say he was another victim of CF.
Lastly, I will also run in the memory of Joe Reardon, a good friend, Boston Herald Sports columnist, and runner...he left us too soon as well. I met Joe in 1982 when he welcomed me on to the Braintree High Track Team. He was tough as nails.
