I am back for my fifth year as the captain of the MSPCA Falmouth Road Race team!
When I began this journey- I could barely run a mile, and I did all of my training with my beloved dog Rose on a leash running with me. It makes me misty to remember those days- Rose gave me the courage and energy to train for something I never thought I could do. She was my companion and the best coach ever!
Five years later, Rose is no longer with us, after valiantly fighting bladder cancer and being treated with kindness and care at Angell- she crossed the rainbow bridge in December of 2022. Her spirit and determination live on, and have pushed me to continue this running journey to raise critical funds in Rose's memory for sick, injured, abused and homeless animals.
